A Living Faith in Experience - 5K Resolution Wallpapers

Next month marks three years of writing and podcasting about the Christian faith and American church culture. Words can’t express how much I appreciate each of you who have come along on this journey. I’m still amazed so many people take the time to read, listen, and comment on everything I put out. Most of us will never meet face-to-face in this life, but each of you have reminded me of the beauty and hope that can still be found in the Church universal. Thank you.

You can expect a new podcast episode to drop in late September or early August. I’ve been invited to speak to some fellow Christians who find common cause with a lot of what is found here. My talk is tentatively entitled Exploring the always-changing community of God, for us today and will be recorded. It seems like an appropriate way to mark three years and preparing for it has been surprisingly encouraging.

For now though, I want to express my gratitude to all of you with a small gift.

I ran some of the themes of the Christian faith and American church culture through a generative AI to see what came up. After some personal editing of my own late at night, the images speak well to concepts and experiences such as reformation, broken faith, deconstruction and reconstruction, death and resurrection, and more.

There are twelve 5K resolution photos that you can download for free to use as your computer wallpaper! Making these gave me a little bit of time to reflect on what the last three years have meant. Again, thank you so much. I hope you enjoy thinking about these as much as I have. Just click or tap on your favorite wallpapers below to open and save them!
